Your Cycle Mechanic originally operated as mobile bicycle service, offering customers the convenience of ‘at home servicing’. The business grew rapidly, driven by Alex’s reputation for outstanding customer service and his exceptional mechanical aptitude, and in April 2019 he established the Your Cycle Mechanic Service Centre in Eton Arcade, Sutherland.

Head Mechanic and Owner
I have been around bikes all my life. I have a genuine passion for riding, and I love seeing people on their bikes having a great time, whether it's for training, racing or general health. Riding is awesome - it's a sport everyone can enjoy, no matter the age, fitness or gender.
I began Your Cycle Mechanic by accident in 2014, when I was servicing bikes for friends (and friends of friends) who'd had terrible experiences with getting a quality & speedy bike service.
I decided to go full time when I realised that there was a major problem that I could solve; bike shops are busy selling bikes and don't put the care and attention to detail that is required to properly care for a bike, be it a road, mountain, time trial or track bike.
I am committed to providing my customers with honest advice, quality workmanship and practical servicing solutions at the right price.
In 2015 I was Head Mechanic for National Road Series (NRS) Team, Holden Women's Racing and regularly serviced the bikes of European Pros, like Giorgia Bronzini when vising for the Australian Summer.
